If your rail journey means that you do not need to travel to or through Birmingham City Centre, which includes the following stations: Birmingham New Street, Birmingham Snow Hill, Birmingham Moor Street, Five Ways and Jewellery Quarter stations, then you can save money with an Outer (zones 2-5) ticket.
