124 bus service

Centro will be making changes to the stopping arrangements for the 124 bus service.

The Hail and Ride part of the service will be replaced with fixed stopping points. This will allow Centro in partnership with the bus operator to provide public transport information at each stop and can help improve reliability.

Fixed stopping points have been agreed and these are detailed below:

  • Bush Road (opposite: 'Netherton Tasty Bites')
  • Copse Road (adjacent: 164/166)
  • Copse Road (adjacent: 80/90)
  • Copse Road (adjacent: 2/4)
  • Heath Road (opposite: 130)
  • Marriott Road (adjacent: 'M.J. Sections Ltd')
  • Marriott Road (opposite: 'M.J. Sections Ltd')
  • Marriott Road (adjacent: 37)
  • Marriott Road (adjacent: 40)
  • Stoney Lane (adjacent 43/45)

The poles are due to be installed by the end of April and once the work has been completed passengers will no longer be able to hail the bus. They will have to use fixed stops.
