WorkWise can help you if you are unemployed - not already getting help with travel costs and you live in a funded ward
We can offer you:
- a free ticket to travel to job interviews
- up to two free monthly travel passes when you start a new job
- free travel information and advice
- To be eligible for WorkWise support you must:
- be unemployed before you applied for WorkWise support
- live in an eligible ward
- provide a national insurance number
- provide proof of unemployment
- provide a letter confirming interview or job
- have applied within five days of starting a new job
- apply for job interview support before having the interview
- have been advised to sign off benefits
- be working for 16 hours or more per week
Proof of unemployment, identity (Driving licence, passport or birth certificate), current address and proof of interview or new job start will be required.
A photocard is required to issue a monthly travel pass so please provide a photocard from an old bus pass or bring in a passport size photo.
