WorkWise can help you if you are unemployed, not already assisted with travel costs and you live in one of the funded wards

Foleshill, Henley, Holbrook, Longford, Radford, Sherbourne, St Michael's and Upper Stoke.

We can offer you:

  • FREE day tickets to attend job interviews
  • Up to two FREE monthly (four week) travel passes when starting a new job
  • FREE sustainable travel information, advice and guidance

To be eligible for WorkWise support you must:

  • Be unemployed prior to applying for WorkWise support
  • Live within an eligible ward (shown above)
  • Provide a valid national insurance number
  • Provide proof of unemployment
  • Provide a letter confirming interview ./ job details
  • Have made a complete application within 5 working days of starting new employment
  • Apply for job interview support before attending the interview
  • Have been advised to sign off benefits
  • Be working for 16 hours or more per week

Proof of unemployment, identity (Driving licence, passport or birth certificate), current address and proof of interview or new job start will be required.

A photocard is required to issue a monthly travel pass so please provide a photocard from an old bus pass or bring in a passport size photo.
