To be eligible for WorkWise support you must be:

  • Unemployed
  • Not on another programme that can assist with travel costs
  • Live in Chelmsley Wood, Fordbridge & Kingshurst or Smiths Wood wards and have a permanent address for council tax which is payable to Solihull MBC
    OR
    be signing on at Chelmsley Wood JCP and have a permanent address for council tax which is payable to a West Midlands council

Important: Please note that you must apply for WorkWise support for a new job before starting your new employment. Proof of unemployment, identity and current address will be required.
